In conjunction with the Women’s National Day celebration, The US Army Women Foundation held its 11th Annual Hall of Fame induction & Schorlarship Awards Ceremony on March 7th, at Kennedy Caucus Room on Capitol Hill. The evening program with speeches and a light reception was designed to « recognize and honor the invaluable service of Army women through various programs, research, scholarships, and grants ». During the ceremony, the foundation’s leadership announced $400 000 in scholarships for 30 recipients, given by a variety of organizations including Walmart, Fedpen Credit Union and many more. The leadership also presented the 2019 Hall of Fame inductees. They include BG Ret Clara Adams Ender, first Army Nurse in history to command as a general officer. « Today I am history », she said to applause
