The third edition of Miss Culture USA was held on Saturday April 14, 2018, in Silver Spring, Maryland. 7 pageants representing different countries in Africa, and the Republic of Guyana, competed for the crown. They are CharmelleDjimessi (Benin/first runner up), Mariel King (Guyana/second runner up), Ines Okula (Rep of Congo/third runner up. Anais Gueret (CAR) and Mariam Sangare (Burkina Fasso.)
At the end, the crown went to Miss Sierra Leone Magdalene koroma. More than 100 people attended the colorful event at a Community Center located on 15930 Good Hope Road.
Prominent Washington insiders including Jan Du Plain and Jeannine B. Scott were among the jury. There was music, fun, dance and food. Miss Culture USA is operated by Therapeutic Interventions Inc. with Fatmata Koroma.
