On Thursday, October 16, Jan Du Plain, President of Du Plain Enterprises and affectionately known as Washington First Lady of Culture Diplomacy, was honored with the Eurasia Center Lifetime Achievement Award at a reception at the Ven Hotel in DC. Dr. Gerry Jenco, President of the Eurasia Center, lauded Du Plain’s longstanding commitment to bridging gaps within the diplomatic community. « Through her involvement with esteemed organizations such as Winter National, the Washington Educational and Culture Attaches’ Association, the Embassy Chef Challenge, and Passport DC, Jan Duplain has ascended to an iconic status, making her an indispensable figure, » Dr. Jenco remarked.
The Eurasia Center of America also conferred its prestigious Star of Executive Humanitarian Award upon United Help Ukraine. Valeriya Chunikhin accepted the award, stating that she is « truly honored to have received the award on behalf of United Help Ukraine.
